Found one of these in our yard when we lived on Bishop Rd. on the East Side. Sadly, we did not get a photo at that time.

Saw one of these little fellows in the garage a few years back. Didn't get a picture at that time but will be ready for the next sighting.
We saw a mink swimming in the Rouge River before it then climbed up on shore and scurried into the woods. It surprised us, but we got a good look. Unfortunately, we fumbled with the camera a bit and did not get very good photos.
Spied one of these in the water at a boat channel over near Alfred Ford Park. We didn't get much of a picture though.
Have seen exactly three of these common rats in the city. Do we need to get out more at night? Maybe. We have seen them once on the East Side, once off of E. Larned in Downtown and once on Fort Street on the west side of Downtown. Didn't have the camera ready on any of these occasions.
We've seen two of these smooth beasts in the city. Once in our backyard on the top of our chain-link fence and once walking across the roadway - both at night. Didn't have a camera ready - very frustrating.
